What is CAT exam?

CAT exam is the most popular and known exam for MBA. It is an all-India online placement test for entrance into IIMs and other top B-schools in India. It is held in November or first seven days stretch of December consistently in 2 meetings. It is directed just once per year, so you have only one opportunity to break CAT or break it! There is a sum of 100 inquiries, isolated among three segments. This exam is treated as one of the difficult MBA entrance examinations and requires the students to score a very high percentile to get admission in different IIMs. Getting admission in IIMs is a dream of many. Manavdeep Singh had a decent job with a decent package before getting into CAT. His encounter with CAT examination was accidental. Unfortunately, he faced a severe accident in the year 2018 which was to keep him in the hospital bed for a long time. This is the moment he randomly thought of CAT and started preparing for it, keeping a target of 99.5+ percentile. The situation where most of the people lose hope, he found a hope in disguise and worked to achieve a goal. In his interview, he mentioned that he scored just 47 percentile in his first mock test attempt. He didn’t stop; rather he kept preparing rigorously. He even watched few motivational videos and coincidentally watched videos about IIM Lucknow and was quite intrigued by it. He got a 99.4% and got into IIM Lucknow.

Kunal Lalchandani was an average student during his school days. After getting decent score in JEE, he got into an engineering college. But, one day he got to know about the CAT exam and thought of giving it a try. When he took the first mock test after his preparation, he got 63 percentile. In one year, he improved drastically and scored 97.25 percentile in CAT 2017. But he didn’t stop here. He was dreaming something bigger than this.
