RRB GROUP D
The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) on behalf of Railway Recruitment Cells (RRCs) are conducting RRB Group D recruitment for various posts like Track Maintainer Grade-IV, Helper/Assistant Points man. Candidates will be recruited in RRC Level 1 of the seventh CPC Pay Matrix in various departments of Indian Railways.
RRB Group D Exam Pattern
Candidates willing to know the detailed syllabus of exam must first keep abreast with the latest selection process or exam pattern.
As prescribed in the official notification, the selection process of RRB Group D exam comprises four stages excluding the RRB Group D Apply Online process and issuance of Admit Card.
The four stages of Exam pattern are:

RRB Group D CBT – Computer Based Examination
All those candidates who filled RRB Group D registration forms and received the admit cards have to appear for the RRB Group D CBT test.
The compute- based test of RRB Group D exam is conducted for 90 minutes. A total of 100 questions are asked and there is a negative marking of ⅓ marks for each wrong attempt in the CBT.

PET/PST Test
Candidates based on the performance in the CBT are selected for the PET tests. Candidates will be selected for PET 3 times the number of vacancies.
After the PET test, RRB Group D results are announced. Marks scored by candidates in CBT are normalized and then the results for the exam will be made available online in PDF format displaying the qualifying candidates.
Document Verification
Based on candidates performance in CBT and their qualification in PET round, 1.05 times candidates to the number of vacancies are called for Document verification process.
Medical Examination
Candidates have to appear for the medical examination round after the verification of documents. The final letter of appointment is issued to candidates who are found medically fit.
