Japanese N2 material

• What is Japanese N2?

JLPT N2 is an achievement which cannot be sidelined while taking Japanese into consideration. It is the business level certification which drives the candidate ahead in any corporation requiring Japanese as a compulsion or till some extent. It is the benchmark as N1 is considered very native as a certificate. The N2 level had the greatest number of applicants amongst all the levels at a total of 145,310 applicants in the year 2017. Of those applicants, 43.9% percent passed the exam. This examination is the only way to achieve this certification. The examination has 3 sections dealing with three integral parts of any language. 

These are listening, grammar/vocabulary and reading. Each section is worth 60 points and you must get 19 points or more in each section. The candidate needs to achieve a total of at least 100 points. But, the best part about the examination is the marking and passing procedure. If a candidate is weak in one area, they can make it up by performing better in another area of performance. The candidates just need to ensure more than 19 points in each section and 100 points in total. That should make it up for them. Though the point assigning is quite dubious, it depends on the weightage of the question. 

• Why Japanese N2? 

Japanese N2 examination provides certification for contemplation of Japanese skills of any candidate. The N2 exam mostly focuses on Keigo which is a formal form of Japanese language. N2 is a business level certification examination which makes sure that all the words used in a conversation are refined and meaningful to business.
