What is the Railway recruitment?
The Indian railways is one of the biggest industries who hire people on a daily basis. According to many surveys and statistics the Indian railway support and provides many railway families, by providing them jobs and services. Each railway has a designated number of people they commonly choose to hire however, they receive over crores of applications for enrolment. These applications are taken care of by RRB’s who are also known as the Railway Recruitment Bards as well as RRC’s who are the Railway recruitment cells.
RRB Exams taken in India;
- RRB group D
The RRB group D is a computer-based examination. It is been given the most weightage when applying as a Maintainer, Assistant pointsman and so on. Over the years there has been over 1.15 crore candidates who register and apply. However, they only provide, 1,03,769 vacancies. The post will then be divided into 16 railway zones. This designation is given to those who are experienced and is dedicated in their job and post. This job is valid all across India. The examination stages will be, CBT, Physical efficiency test, document verification and the medical examination. The subjects that are factored in general science, mathematics, general intelligence and reasoning, and general awareness and current affairs. The duration will be 90 minutes. The possible zones that you could apply for is the central railway, east coast railway, north western railway, south central railway, western railway and so on. Of course, these are just a few and there are many more sectors based on the region that you work in.
2. RRB NTPC
The RRB NTPC is used when selecting prospective students who are eligible for Non-Technical popular and who are curtained in the undergraduate posts. In these posts there are over 35,208 vacancies which are available. This examination can have a post of junior clerk, junior time keeper, commercial, goods guard, triadic assistant, trains clear, junior account assistant and Commercial apprentices and so on. The stages of this examination are the computer-based test which has 3 stages. The final stage will have an aptitude test and various document verification. The exam categories of undergraduate post, is for a class 12 pass and the graduate posts need to be a verification of graduation. This job has an age limit of 18 – 33 years.
3. RRB JE
The RRB JE is used when opting to be a depot material inspector. It also plays a part when recruiting Junior engineer, depot material superintendent, as well as chemical and metallurgical assistant. This exam level is at a national level. The recruitment is based upon nationality, age and education. The candidate must be, in the citizen of India, Nepal, Bhutan,
Tibetan. The age limit has been in 18-33 years. This is the requirements for the various posts and required subjects.

4. RRB ALP
This examination is when recruiting assistant loco pilot or a technician for a range of railway zones around India. The examination is valid nationally. The vacancy compared to the rest, is done through the needs of the position and availability. The examination has the first test which is 1 hour. The second stage is for 2 hours, with the total of 3 hours. This examination is all computer based. The age limit is from 18-28 years.
