Tips to ace the RRB NTPC

The railway recruitment board (RRB) is known to be one of the largest recruiters. It conducts Non-technical popular categories (NTPC) exam to recruit Commercial apprentice, Good guard, Traffic apprentice etc. 

Exam pattern:

It consists following stages:

1. CBT Stage -1 
2. CBT Stage – 2
3. Skill test 
4. Document verification
5. Medical Examination

Sections:

1. Mathematics
2. General Intelligence & Reasoning
3. General awareness 

No. Of questions: 

• Mathematics – 30
• General Intelligence & Reasoning – 30
• General awareness – 40
• Total – 100

Tips to crack the RRB NTPC exam:

1. Categories the topic according to its level

2. Work on the basics, if you are a commerce graduate little more preparation is required in terms of quantitative aptitude.

3. Allot Time separately for each section

4. Note down what you have learnt new , keep revising from notebook , write the logic behind everything you found.

5. Mocks & past years papers should be practiced more in order to gain speed & accuracy.

6. Go through weekly GK blogs & watch news on several apps to gain knowledge in the concerned subject.

7. Referring to limited books , going through them thoroughly would be more beneficial than just seeking information from every corner.

8. Make a plan or time table . Follow that in order to brush up your preparation.

9. Don’t engage yourself with negative people & negative thoughts.

10. Always keep in mind hacks like elimination method , value- putting method & skipping the questions if required.
